A lovely pie chart shows how much work has been completed and how much is still left. Additionally, a widget allows you to easily add new tasks to your to-do list right from the lock screen.

10.  Overcast

With the addition of the new lock screen widgets, Overcast, an excellent podcast app for the iPhone, has become even more user-friendly. There are currently three widgets available in the app, including the 'Recents' widget, which displays brand-new podcast episodes that you haven't listened to, and the simple icon widget, which simply launches the Overcast app. But if you're a power user of podcasts, you must have a lot of playlists to keep track of. You may easily begin playing any selected playlist from the lock screen by using the "Playlist" widget.
