You can look forward to a newer processor, but not a bigger screen
The Pixel 7 will be released soon, following Google's annual upgrade of its smartphone line. We anticipate the general design to be the same as the 2021 Pixel, 5G support, and an under-display fingerprint reader despite the fact that this phone's introduction of a new Tensor processor was only briefly announced during Google I/O 2022.
When Will the Pixel 7 Be Available?
During the Google I/O event in May 2022, Google announced the Pixel 7. The event will take place on October 6.
Google has released a new Pixel at a Fall event for several years. For comparison, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 5 were unveiled in October 2021 and September 2020, respectively.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be released on October 13 according to frequent leaker Jon Prosser, who accurately discloses many features and release dates in the tech world. A Pixel 7a doesn't offer much in the way of commentary, but we'll keep an eye out for it (it'll likely be released in 2023).
Estimated Release Date for Lifewire Google has confirmed an event for the Pixel 7, Pixel Watch, and new Pixel Buds on October 6.
1. Price Speculation for the Pixel 7
The storage capacity options, screen size, and brand-new hardware are just a few of the factors that affect a company's decision on how much to charge for a new phone. We know the Pixel 7's entry-level screen size is said to be the same as the Pixel 5a, but because it will have improvements over the 5a, this isn't a pricing formula we can use.
The Pixel 6 (₹67,480) and Pixel 6 Pro (₹67,480) are expected to have similar pricing structures. Even though the Pixel 5 cost a little more, at ₹75,480, we don't anticipate this trend to continue every year; however, we do anticipate generally lower prices than rivals Samsung and Apple.
Like last year's Pixel, the Pixel 7 will most likely be available for pre-order for about a week after it's announced, which means October 6.
When the pre-order link becomes available, we'll post it here.
3. Pixel 7 Specifications
Because Android 13 arrived on the Pixel in August 2022, all of those changes will be available to the Pixel 7 at launch.
These include features like the Foreground Services Task Manager, which will enable you to more effectively manage running services, a QR code reader that is simpler to use, alerts for the battery's usage over the course of the day, and additional sophisticated privacy controls.
The Tensor processor was introduced by Google in the Pixel 6. It brought a slew of new capabilities as well as lower power consumption. Google's Pixel 7 magazine page mentions Google Tensor G2, which it claims will improve photos, videos, security, and speech recognition.
According to 9 to 5 Google, the Pixel 7 front-facing camera, specifically the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, will support 4K video. The Pixel 6 series only allowed 4K video to be recorded from the selfie camera, so this is significant.
