1. How to Take a Screenshot on an Android Device
The process for capturing a screenshot on most Android phones is the same. Simply hit the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously. The majority of Android phones, including the Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Motorola, LG, and Xiaomi, are compatible with this technique. This button combination is also compatible with the majority of Android tablets.

When you have finished taking a screenshot, you may mark it up or share it by tapping the preview icon in the lower left corner of your screen. Your default save location could vary depending on the Android device you're using. If you're not sure, look under Google Photos' Screenshots folder. (Located in the PhotosPhotos' bottom-right corner under the Library tab.) Screenshots may be accessed in the Images folder of the Files app on your phone if you do not have Google Photos.

2. How to Capture a Screenshot on an iPhone or iPad (iOS, iPadOS)
To capture a screenshot, you'll need to follow various instructions depending on your iPhone or iPad model. Buttons without a home button and buttons with a home button are the two main kinds of Apple hardware. iOS and iPadOS are identical to each other under these categories.
To save a screenshot after taking one, touch Done in the upper-left corner of your screen. Screenshots will be stored to the Screenshots folder in your Camera Roll.
3. How to take a screenshot on an iPhone or iPad without a home button
The iPhone X, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 are all without a home button. The newest generation of iPads, with the exception of the entry-level model, also lack a home button.
To snap a screenshot on an iPhone or iPad without a home button, simultaneously press the side and volume up buttons.

5. How to record your screen on an iPhone or iPad
These instructions are valid for iOS 14 and beyond. You may need to first enable the screen recording capability in the Control Center (Steps 1-3).
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap Control Center, then Add Screen Recording.
- Launch Control Center.
- Hold down the Record button.
- Start Recording should be selected.
- To stop recording, open Control Center and hit the Record button.
6. How to take a screenshot on a Mac
On macOS, Apple provides three keyboard keys for taking a screenshot: full-screen, rectangle selection, and single window. Screenshots will be saved to your desktop as a PNG file named "Screen Shot [date] at [time].png."

7. How to take a screenshot on ChromeOS
You may screenshot a window, the entire screen, or a specific area on a Chromebook. If your keyboard lacks a Show Windows key, you can snap a complete screenshot with Ctrl + F5, or a custom rectangle selection with Ctrl + Shift + F5.
- Shift-Ctrl-Shift-Show windows
- Choose Screenshot from the drop-down menu.
- Choose a screenshot option.
- To capture a screenshot, click (or drag, depending on your preference) on the screen.
