Samsung Galaxy M04's launch date, design, and key specs revealed by Amazon

On December 9 at 12:00 local time in India, the Samsung Galaxy M04 that we have been hearing about for a few months will be unveiled.

This information was discovered by Amazon.in, which developed a promotional page for the Galaxy M04 on its website and included a "Notify Me" option for users who wanted to be informed when the smartphone was released in India.

The Samsung Galaxy M04's design, essential features, and available colors are also disclosed on the promo page. The smartphone has two cameras on the back and a waterdrop notch display. It will include 128GB of inbuilt storage and will be available in black and green.

Although Amazon withholds the precise physical RAM measurement, it claims that the Galaxy M04 will support up to 8GB of RAM using the RAM Plus feature. In other words, the actual RAM will be 6GB or less, and the internal storage of the smartphone will be used as virtual RAM to give users access to a total of 8GB RAM.

Although the Galaxy M04 will receive OS updates for two years, it hasn't been officially confirmed that it will ship with Android 12 or 13. However, when you boot the smartphone, you should anticipate Android 12 if Geekbench and Google Play Console are to be believed.

We don't know if the Galaxy M04 will be available in India with the 3GB RAM option, but the smartphone was listed on Google Play Console and Geekbench with the Helio G35 SoC and that amount of RAM. We do know that the Galaxy M04 will cost between INR8,000 ($97/€93) and INR8,999 ($109/€104) in India as its starting price.
